HUB- Do what you love

In 2004, three young Dutch men decide to launch their own brand: HUB. Their inspiration comes from urban culture, the environment in which they grew up and from which they’ve nourished themselves during their teen years. Rejecting the vintage concepts, their goal is to create a shoe that can be future-oriented and, in this way, connected with the urban atmosphere. This shoe has to be able to follow a person in their daily activities and to be adaptable to all situations.

HUB shoes’ design is inspired by great cities like Berlin, Amsterdam or even Copenhagen where tube stations and coffee shops represent the central piece of urban living. A “HUB” is therefore a shoe that fills a void between classic sneakers and business shoes. Their success lies without a doubt in the high quality of the materials they’re made of, which keeps you comfortable all day long.

The Z-shaped stitching, one of the brand’s features and visible on all pairs of shoes is more than just a physical connection between the different parts of the shoe but it’s more like a connection metaphor that allows people to meet by wearing their favourite HUB shoes. HUB is so much more than just a pair of sneakers, it’s a place where people get to meet.

We’re moving! (part II)

Shoe me!!!

The D-Day has arrived, we finally moved into our brand new office space! Noise, dust, cold, over!

On November 3rd, the whole KOALA.CH team rolled up their sleeves and packed, unpacked, cleaned, vacuumed, plugged in, plugged out and put all the stuff we had in our container/office into the new one!

The new office is bright, warm, huge, silent and in other words, fabulous!

We therefore killed two birds with one stone and organized a little housewarming/new TV ad launch/1st anniversary of KOALA.CH party!

(FYI: The new TV Ad will be visible on most private channels as of monday November 7th. We’re all excited!!)

Many local celebrities including the Syndic of Châtonnaye and most of our partners and suppliers came and had a drink to celebrate with us.

Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to see Matthias or Valentin dressed as a prince but we keep hoping!

We had a computer available for the guests so they could order their favourite shoes and take them home directly.
